Diagnosis and Notes
The wing markings closely resemble those of C. simulator, with no pale spot at the base of cell m1, but the antennal ratio is always higher than 1.55 in alazanicus. The male genitalia of this and of C. simulator are very similar; the ninth sternite membrane is bare. The female AR is 1.56-1.70; the SD 3-15. The species is easily overlooked and any simulator are worth close examination. The figures are from Glukhova (1989).
