  • General overview of lumpy skin disease and sheep and goat pox containing:
  1. Aetiology
  2. Disinfection
  3. Epidemiology
  4. Transmission
  5. Clinical diagnosis of LSD and sheep/goat pox
  6. Laboratory diagnosis
  7. Differential diagnosis
  8. Pathology
  9. Immunity
  10. Control and eradication

 

  • Cell culture work:
  1. Preparation of lamb testis cell culture
  2. Storage of cells
  3. Subculturing lamb testis cells
  4. Virus isolation from blood and skin samples

 

  • PCR Method for Capripox Viruses

 

  • Serology:
  1. Serum neutralisation test
  2. Cell counting
  3. Virus titration
